Bermuda shorts originated with the British Army for wear in tropical and desert climates. After II World War they became part of popular fashion, being worn by young boys and adult men in the summer. Shorter than Capri and longer then Daisy Dukes also found a place in women’s wardrobe. At first simple and sporty then elegant and chic. Made from cotton or silk, printed or not, dominated runways and fashion shows in 2013. Nicole Miller, Diane Von Furstenberg and Rachel Zoe's collections show a lot of examples of this trendy piece.
