Showcase Ireland 2016- Jewellery

My life was crazy busy lately so big apology for the delay on publishing this post. I know some of you got already anxious and kept asking me about second part of Showcase 2016, so here we come. As the Fashion exhibition of Ireland's Creative Expo was quite big this year, I decided to split it over two posts: jewellery and separately fashion. Jewellery comes as first! There were many exhibitors showcasing theirs art but I chose for you those who had most interesting pieces and eye catching booths. Enjoy it then! :)

The Knitwear Project- Fashion Show

End of January is a very exciting time of the year as my favorite exhibition takes place in RDS. Of course I am talking about Showcase - Ireland's Creative Expo where over 450 exhibitors across Europe including best Irish designers present their talents. I attended the exhibition yesterday and took a few pictures to encourage you to visit RDS yourself. The Expo is still on until 27th of January, so hurry up! #FabulousFlormar for New Year!

In the middle of December I was a part of great Christmas Evening with #FabulousFlormar at The Morgan Hotel in Dublin. Where lovely and stylish Paul with his crew introduced us to the best Xmas and New Year's Eve make up ideas by presenting a few unique looks, from simple and classy to glitter and glamorous. If you still aren't sure what you want to be for New Year's Eve, either chic 50s or sparkly 80s, don't worry about it just choose Flormar! These cosmetics will make you look fabulous by all means. The Boutique Fashion Show

On the 1st of October The Boutique Fashion Show took place in Cafe En Seine, where twelve amazing Irish shops and designers presented their ideas for AW15. The boutiques created stylish, unique looks from 9-5 outfits trough to evening high fashion and weekend comfy looks, giving the woman an alternative view of the most popular AW trends. Young Designer Of The Year 2015

On Wednesday the 9th of September for a third time in history of DFF, Young Designer Of The Year 2015 was announced. The winner was selected from 12 most creative and innovative designs. Before I share with you who the winner is, please take a look at some pictures from this amazing fashion show held in iconic Dublin Landmark of Bank of Ireland’s headquarters at College Green.

Last week I attended the Flormar Day with make-up artist Leonard Daly, which took place in Residence restaurant in Dublin. Amazing Leo shared his tips and tricks using Flormar cosmetics. From simple day make-up with BB cream through contouring to smoke eyes for the evening, all with Flormar great selection of creams, primers, bronzers, eye-shadows, pencils and lipsticks. I like all of the products but I fell in love with bronzer which will be definitely my favourite product. Great texture, amazing colour, long lasting in surprisingly big box. Womans World 2015

 Last Sunday my friend Martyna and I attended Womans World day at RDS. I must say we had great fun there, doing make up and nails, checking out new interesting beauty products and taking closer look at smart beauty solutions. We have even tried teeth whitening! Yes! The futuristic looking teeth whitening with Megawhite.

2 weeks ago Irish fashion designer Mary Grant opened her boutique in The Powerscourt Townhouse Centre in Dublin.

Order by 10 pm - Next Press Event

Last Thursday Next Direct organised fantastic press event at the Dean Hotel in Dublin. The main highlight of the event was next day delivery option that Next Direct implemented recently *order by 10 pm for Next Day Delivery to Ireland*.
I love this amazing option we were given for quick and easy solution to a "OMG, I have nothing to wear" drama :)
The Next Direct PR Team: Vicki, Rebecca and Chantalle has as always done incredible exhibition, this time presenting Spring Summer 2015 collection that included shoes, bags, jewellery and home accessories. All of it accompanied by great music and delicious snacks. Huge thanks to the Girsl for inviting me.

Showcase 2015 The Best Of / p.1 Fashion

Coming back to posting about Ireland's Creative Expo I would like to share with you designers and designs present at the event that I found the most interesting. Not only because of their eye catching exhibition but also because of  the finest products they displayed (some of them unique to Showcase). During this fantastic event  I took many pictures, from which I've now chosen around 50 that I'd like to share with you. They will be presented in two posts: Fashion and Home. Today part 1: Fashion!

Showcase 2015 Fashion Show

As always at the beginning of the year, also this January Ireland's Creative Expo took a place at RDS. Between 18th and 21st of the month exhibitors from many countries presented there finest products (more on this soon in a separate blog post).
Fashion PR Sonia Reynolds, in collaboration with Appasionata Flowers and Michael Leong, have created spectacular Fashion Show based on clothes and accessories from, among others, Fisherman Out of Ireland, Ekotree, Maria Cardenas, Zoe Carol, Ireland's Eye Knitwear, Roisin Gartland. Here are a few pics from this fab show. It's a shame I'll have to wait 12 months until the next one!

Life is a Label Fashion Show

Last of the evening events I attended during Dublin Fashion Festival was "Life is a Label Fashion Show" which took place at Royal Hibernian Way. This time catwalk models presented the hottest trends for upcoming AW14 season based on clothing from retailers in the Grafton Street Quarter of Dublin City Centre. Creative Quarter Fashion Show 2014

The main event of the Dublin Fashion Festival, Creative Quarter Fashion Show, drew attention of all Dublins' fashionists. This year's event was hosted by Angela Scanlon and as many times before it took place at The Powerscourt Townouse Centre on South William Street. Beautiful models on the runway presented fabulous selection of clothing from the best independent retailers of Creative Quarter area, such as: Raglan, Helen  Mcalinden, Cherry Bum, Lya Solis, Ciara Bridal, The Loft Market, French Connection.

Young Designer Of The Year 2014

Yesterday evening on the grounds of the Bank of Ireland on College Green, for the second time in the history of Dublin Fashion Festival judging panel has chosen Young Designer Of The Year. The winner has been chosen from 12 short-listed talented Irish designers. All competing designs were fantastic but there could be only one winner. The Judges’ were impressed the most by spectacular blue knitted gown, mixture of traditional Irish knitwear with extraordinary modern twist created by Ciaram Gormley. Ciaran has received great prizes including a fashion portfolio shoot with Barry McCall and cutting edge gadgets from Microsoft Mobile. Congratulations Ciaran!

Fashion Show & Meet the Designer @ Dundrum SC

2 weeks ago at Dundrum Shopping Centre Stylist Colm Corrigan presented his ideas of  the best looks in SS2014. There were 5 themes of the fashion show: Summer Separates, Matchy Matchy, Sports, White on White & Colour of Summer. Colm had used clothes, shoes and accessories currently available at Dundrum SC. DIT Fashion Show 2014

DIT Fashion Show is an annual event, now in its eleventh year, organised by 70 students from DIT. One of the most rewarding elements for the organising students is the charitable aspect of the show. The DIT Fashion Society is one of 80 societies in DIT involving 6,000 student members. The societies place heavy emphasis on the management of and participation in productions and campaigns such as the Vodafone DIT Fashion Show, with a view to the practical education of the students involved.
Every year this spectacular event attracts attention of numerous fashionists.
Of course I couldn't miss it myself!
