Statement pieces: long waistcoat

AW15 is all about rich wool, cozy fur, crushed velvet , see through mesh and  leather in every way. There are a few statement pieces you need to add to your closet to stay fashionable over the AW15 season. To keep your "must have"  list  up to date you need to consider buying a long woolen waistcoat which will keep you not only looking stylish, but also warm and comfy during the colder days of Winter. I have been looking for a long sleeveless coat for quite some time, as I needed something timeless in a classic shape and colour. Just like every woman, I surf the internet every day looking for inspiration and the perfect piece I will spend my money on. I like to explore by Googling to find new online shops I can purchase from and this is exactly how I found out about Yoins. I am a considerate and careful shopper, I rarely buy something by impulse. Most of the time I take a look at a particular piece more than once before I make a decision. I like to have a wide choice of garments I can choose from and also I like to go through the product reviews, as I find it really helpful when trying on a new discovery. My experience with Yoins has been really good, all the way from placing the order to receiving the item was absolutely seamless. The product by itself is really nice quality and good  shape. I like the camel shade of brown and the warm wool mix. I will definitely be wearing this waistcoat a lot, styling it in different ways. So keep your eye on my blog to find out more about styling ideas of this statement piece.

November wishlist

Now that we are in November, the days are getting darker, the weather is colder and Christmas is still a little too far away to get excited about. What we all need when November sets in is a host of fashionable products to lift our moods; to help carry us through the dark month and battle the elements in a way that is fun and fabulous. Whilst designer clothing and accessories would be absolutely ideal, many of us face a pretty big financial barrier when it comes to indulging in the most fashionable pieces: I for one do not have thousands of pounds to be spending on clothing. But, we can dare to dream, and here are the pieces that we wish we could invest in to get us through November. They may only exist in the realm of our imaginations, but there’s nothing like a little fantasy to get you through the dreary dankness of winter!

Winter warmer

No one can survive winter without a coat that can keep you perfectly warm whilst also making a serious style statement. With a limitless budget, we’d invest in Céline’s midi-length cream number. This coat oozes with old school glamour, cinching in at the waist to flatter your figure before flaring out subtly. Slightly more feminine than the classic trench coat, this piece also comes with a slight French froufrou finish by sporting a sumptuous fur collar and matching cuffs. Whilst this piece definitely harks back to old-school Hollywood glamour, its styling kept it immeasurably modern and contemporary. Like the models on the runway, we’d team this luxurious coat with bright aquamarine eye shadow, long wavy locks and gold hoop earrings.

#HMBalmaination

Popular Swedish brand H&M is cooperating with famous designers for few years now, preparing special limited editions of clothing and accessories. Those amazing pieces are available for very short period of time and mostly you need to be on a waiting list to get what you like, which is making lots of fashion hunters sleepless. Luckily I got invited to the pre-lunch party of  Balmain collection for H&M, where I could get my favorite piece designed by Olivier Rousteing.Take a look at my way of #HMBalmaination.

Wardrobe swap

Men's pieces transfer smoothly and very well in to a woman's wardrobe. I adore the currently popular dandy look with trendy pieces such as bow ties, and braces. I personally love to wear slightly oversized jeans, shirts and jumpers with sexy heels and red lips to add a bit of femininity to the look. My wardrobe contains a few perfectly tailored mens' shirts, tees and jeans. I also have ties and braces as those accessories can be used in different ways and not just to achieve this autumn's most wanted dandy look. Like every woman, I never have enough clothing in my wardrobe. I was recently looking for a men's shirt in a country check style. I made my purchase from the Samuel Windsor website where I found a well shaped 100% cotton shirt which makes me look impeccable and very comfortable at the same time.
AW15 is about Dandy so buy one trendy piece, add red lips and nails for a feminine twist and rock the world Baby! :)

Quick break in Rome- Day 1

Rome is one of my favourite cities in Europe. Whenever the opportunity to go there arises, I never refuse it. I love the city for its amazing ancient atmosphere and infinite surprises. I have visited Rome many times, but have never got bored there as every corner hides a history of antique life. A week ago I travelled to Rome again, where I spent 2 fabulous days with my Mum, Sis and my Sis' Godmother. It was a great time, just us ladies and the city which never sleeps!
I have taken many, many photos and could publish them all, but I decided to compact it into 2 posts instead and leave something for you to discover yourself!
