1 year and 1 day ago I published my first post. The past year was a year of improvements, new experiences, challenges, mostly of happiness but also a year of difficulties. I developed new skills and learnt how to pose and take better pictures. I opened my mind to new experiences, started experimenting, and fulfilled one of my dreams, started designing clothes.
I must say this blog wouldn't exist without my husband's huge support. He takes all pictures ( but few) and he also looks after the technical side of the blog. Blogging is quite time consuming and requires commitment and persistence. Preparing a post from the very beginning to the very end can take a few hours so without support I would not be able to do that. Of course this blog wouldn't exist without You either. All my Followers and Visitors who make me believe in myself. BIG thanks to all of you.
For upcoming year of blogging what I wish to myself is to have more time for what I love. I wish myself to have more opportunities for improvement and good design ideas.
And for all of you I wish you to continue enjoying my blog. I hope you do get inspired by my stylisations and I hope that some of you did fall in love with fashion with me.
Last Thursday in the Cliff Townhouse Next presented fabulous SS2014 collection. As before Victoria and Rebecca did great job preparing the event. The rooms were styled perfectly. Beautiful pastel colours, fresh flowers, romantic pictures, wooden home accessories, lovely candles, cute and delicious cupcakes. Amazing selection of accessories and clothing that made me feel like I was on vacation already. Spring and Summer collection by Next follows the pastel trend. Top, skirt, blazers, knitwear, bags, shoes, swimsuits, all you need is there. For those who do not fancy wearing pastels Next created many pieces in bright colours, i.e. orange, pink, red, olive. There are few different styles of the summer clothing, everyone will find something interesting. I would definitely go for romantic and hippie look. I was enchanted by embroidered shorts and tunics, lace tops and dresses, flowery skirts. You'll see some of those pieces on my blog soon, as I have added them to my must-have list. In the meantime if you wish to see the full collection just go to http://www.next.co.uk/ Here are a few pics I took at the event for you:
Last weekend Style-Ikon organized an event to present the most trendy pieces of SS 2014. From clothing through bags and jewellery to shoes and boots. Leather, cotton, silk and neoprene. Gold, black, pink, white, yellow, silver and blue. Prints, cut work and embroidery. All of the upcoming season must-have in one place. If you missed out the event, don't worry there are still some hot pieces available on style-ikon.com Here are few pics I took at the event, enjoy!
Trends for Spring and Summer 2014 continue on with big, visible jewellery. Colourful, shiny necklaces and earrings are everywhere. My very own collection is getting bigger too, as I looove accessories. This trend might continue for longer however I don't like spending too much money on seasonal accessories. Firstly you never know if you use it in the future, secondly you can find it boring after a while. When it comes to earrings ASOS is one of my favourite brands. Beside interesting designs, I appreciate the quality and the prices too. It's packaged in beautiful, simple, small carton boxes which is a nice touch. They have friendly returns policy, so if you don't like what you purchased, you can always send it back. There are many other brands with great selection of accessories, it all depends on what you prefer. Beside ASOS I like Aldo, Zara and New look. Bijou Brigitte and Parfois also have nice pieces in reasonable prices. It's all up to you to decide which ones you like the best! Here are few pictures of my most beloved earrings. Necklaces will come in a separate post soon. Enjoy and stay tuned!
