Autumn's pastry

Autumn is a great time not only because of the beautiful nature around, it is also a time when we have yummy, sweet plums. Today I would like to share with you very easy recipe for pastry with fresh plums and cinnamon icing.

 Ingredients:
  • puff pastry (available in every supermarket) , I've used "Jus-Rol" in a block
  • 5-6 plums
  • 5 spoons of oil
  • royal icing powder
  • cinnamon

So let's do it:

If you have got puff in block as I did, you need to roll it out until you get 1-2 cm thickness, then cut the pastry into 7x7 cm squares (or depending on the size desired). Put it on baking sheet and add plums cut in quadrants. Brush pastry and plums with oil and put into preheated oven (180 degrees). Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

Then add some icing on the top and enjoy!

( If you are using royal icing powder here is the recipe:
mix 2 tbls cold water, 3-6 tbls of icing powder and 1 tbls cinnamon)
